Tuition reimbursement

You’re eligible for tuition reimbursement from your first day at Verizon if you work a minimum of 20 hours per week. If you were hired after June 30, you’re eligible for half of the annual benefit amount in the calendar year you were hired.

You can receive up to the following amount each year for higher education that meets the program’s guidelines, based on your weekly work hours:

  • 30+ hours: up to $8,000
  • 20 – 29 hours: up to $4,000

Further your education and upskill by working toward business and technical certifications in general business, IT, network or security. Through our Get Certified program, you can access preparation courses and practice tests in the Learning Portal 2.0.
