How it works
Stock Together is a broad-based equity program that creates—through a discretionary award of Verizon restricted stock units (RSUs)—an opportunity for all of us to share in the success of Verizon and the value we help to create.
When you receive a Stock Together award, you’ll receive a communication from Verizon with details of the award. The number of RSUs is based on your job type, level, organization, work location and scheduled hours on the grant date. The RSUs are held at Fidelity.
Stock Together awards vest in one-third increments each March over a three-year period.
When your Stock Together award vests, you’ll receive a cash payment equal to the number of RSUs that vested multiplied by the closing price of Verizon’s common stock on each of the vesting dates, subject to any tax withholding obligations and legally required deductions. The cash payment will be deposited into your Fidelity brokerage account as soon as administratively possible after the vesting date.
What you need to do
When you receive a Stock Together award for the first time, activate your Fidelity brokerage account. You can then log in to Fidelity to view your awards and withdraw any funds once your RSUs vest.
You can withdraw funds electronically or by check. Or you can invest your money in stocks, mutual funds or other investments. For more information, visit the Fidelity website.
For questions regarding Stock Together, review the Stock Together FAQs on Inside Verizon. Additional questions can be sent to HR Answers by choosing My Compensation as a case type. You can also speak to a Fidelity team member from 8AM to midnight ET, Monday through Friday, at 800.544.9354.
